Winter
An invigorating winter wonderland awaits skiers and snowboarders on the deep powdered slopes of Brundage Mountain Resort, just six miles away. With yearly snowfall of nearly 400 inches, a vertical drop of 1,800 feet and a run over 2 miles long, it's sure to please. Within Whitetail, there are five miles of scenic, groomed trails for snowshoeing or Nordic skiing, and the community is adjacent to more than 500 miles of groomed snowmobiling trails in the national forest lands.
The McCall area has some great little towns like, Wagon and Burgdorf that are great places in the summer, but try it on your snowmobile; now that is a great adventure. The winter adventures you can have will create memories for a lifetime.
And when you have had enough fun in the snow, come downtown and enjoy two of the town's signature annual events—the Winter Carnival featuring a
renowned ice sculpting contest and the
Mardi Gras parade.
