Whitetail's property totals 1,300 acres. Depending on whether you decide to purchase along the championship golf course or along the property ridge-top, your views will either include the Salmon River Mountains, stunning golf course and valley views, property-wide views including the fresh water lakes on the property itself (18 surface acres), or views of Payette Lake with the charming town of McCall resting on its southern shores.
Of our 1,300 acres, 400 are dedicated to the championship Whitetail Golf Course with approximately 200 acres irrigated. Whitetail Golf Course tee boxes and greens feature bent grass while the fairways and rough are comprised of rye grass and blue grass, respectively.
Whitetail's scenic backdrop is composed of wildflower-laced prairies, valley mountains, forests, three creeks & four lakes. Flora native to the McCall, Idaho area include Aspen Trees, Lodge Pole, Ponderosa, King & White Pines which remain untouched, growing naturally in their original habitat. Introduced and hand planted on the property are Spruce, Crab Apple and Choke Cherry Trees, as well as Lupine & Poppy flowers for a grand display of color.
A combination of native soil and glacier-till combine to create the nutrient rich soil in which these native species thrive. Water drainage that is affected by the construction of our Whitetail amenities is directed to settling ponds for sediment control. Tests are run regularly to ensure that we're abiding by environmental safety standards, which Whitetail has always passed with stellar results.
