Whitetail Introduces New Golf Pro

Whitetail Club is pleased to welcome Todd Bindner as the new Golf Pro. His professional background is in private clubs, most recently at Hillcrest Country Club in Boise. His accomplishments as facilities manager, fitness program designer and motivational instructor make him a perfect fit for Whitetail Club. Originally from Iowa, Todd has lived in Eagle, Idaho for the past 18 years.

“I’ve been working closely with Dennis, Kelsie and our staff to create a warm and friendly environment for everyone to come out and enjoy our amazing golf course and facilities,” Todd said. “We’ve already begun planning a full schedule of events, clinics and programs for men, ladies, couples and juniors for the upcoming season.”

One of Todd’s strengths is managing and improving merchandising in the pro shop. He recently attended the PGA Merchandise Show in Orlando, Florida to see what’s new in golf for 2009. All apparel and accessories will soon be available with newly redesigned Whitetail logo. If it’s gear you’re after, Todd is a certified Titleist and Cobra Club fitter and will work with most club companies to get the perfect fit for you.

All members are invited to take a complimentary golf lesson and club fitting session early in the season. If you want to get started sooner, the practice net and putting green are now set up inside the athletic center. Todd uses a high-quality video system for swing analysis. “Playing the game is fun, but playing the game well is even more fun!” is his philosophy.

“I’ve enjoyed meeting many of our members since arriving here at Whitetail and look forward to seeing you all throughout the season,” Todd said. Until the course opens, his interim office is located in the real estate center across from Shore Lodge.
